How is this small softener re-usable?
This is a salt-using softener, which makes it re-usable. Salt-using softener can be backwashed. It is very simple to do this and can be done in just under 10 minutes.
What is the monthly maintenance?
If you backwash (clean) once every day, you need 400 grams of salt. We sell 40kg solar salt bag for P450. This will last you 100 days before your next purchase of salt.
How long does this softener last?
This softener can last for a minimum of 5 years if it is backwashed properly.
Can I use it for my whole house?
Because it is small in size, we do not recommend to use it for the entire house. But if you have tight space, and you still need a softener, then this will work.
Does it work with both hot and cold water?
Yes, this softener works with both hot and cold water.
Can this softener make water drinkable?
Water softener does not purify the water. It only softens it. So we recommend either to install a RO purifier or a UV sanitation system to ensure water is safe for drinking.
